60717 "Kremer" <kremer@h...> 1999‑04‑06 Bio- Brad Kremer
Hello from Omaha,

They say the first step in any treatment program is to recognize
your addiction. With that in mind, my name is Brad and I'm a user.
Started out the Normie way, spent a good deal of earnings
on p*w*r tools. Didn't get the results I wanted. Eventually, an
ECE smoother fell into my hands and I was amazed at the results.
Poking around on the internet I came across the SS post. You
mean you're supposed to sharpen these things? By yourself?
The rest is history. My hearing is improving and the dust mask
is lost forever.

My real job is flying big airplanes. Business is good, but it really
cuts into my garage time. The workbench base is just recently
completed (the wedged M&Ts came out looking great). I recently
read a tip here on resisting the urge to drive home the
wedges - good tip - really.... good tip. The top will have to wait
until I find some more fee time. My first insight into bench
building - it would be nice if I had a bench to use while building
this bench.

Thanks, Brad

Anyone want to share some old tool sources in the Omaha area?

I am building my bench on the bottom of my bench.

Bench top is turned over and resting on two computer cases. When the
legs and stretchers are done, vices installed, etc. I intend to flip it
over.

Until then-- it is a pretty decent bench and I don't worry about scarring
the top.
