A big "Howdy Pardner" to Rex in Tuscon (why couldn't it have been "Rex in
Tex.?). Welcome to Galootdom. Pull up an upside down bucket and set a
spell. Sounds like you won't need much help from us. You are already
pretty handy. Great score on the lumber! You might want to think some
more about the 3 inch thick bench. Mine is that thick and it is hard to
mount a lot of accessories onto it because it is so thick. Ex. Vises: you
have to rout out a big chunk to mount a lot of them to a bench that
thick. Just my opinion. I'm sure other galoots will set me straight! But
2 inch maple laminated is plenty strong!!
