Hello from the deep south end of the porch. With the warm weather down
here I seem to be spending more time on the porch and thought I
oughta(first southern slang) introduce syself. My name is Keith Cox and I
live Florence, AL.( Alabama, Jeff).  I am married w/ 1 GIT, well he is
actually only 10 months old but I hope his first word is "TOOL".
About a year ago I tripped over all the power cords in the shop right down
the slippery slope and have fallen deeper ever since. I have developed a
passion for old tools, especially hand planes. It has been a joy learning
to use these old guys and also lots of reading to learn all I can.
I also have a passion for wood. I hold a B.S. degree from Auburn
University in Forestry and work for a pressure-treated lumber
company...selling wood during the day...working wood at night. BTW, that
was me that posted the message recently about CCA being discontinued.
Thanks to all who make this site possible...really is a wonderful "tool"
in itself.
