   Take a closer look. See the "flat" up the front from the tip to the 
shank?
That is actually a very shallow arc, or hollow grind.
   To get it you "rock" the driver and slide it up and down as you 
grind, until you get to the very tip.

  Whether its fancy work or just rehabbing any old driver, lay in onto 
your wheel's face and "rock it".
Work your way to the tip.

The tip you end up with is not completely parallel, which is weak,
and its not a straight sided wedge, which cams out too easy.
Its inbetween,.....................its a shallow arc.

Its also easy to do once you have tried it a couple times. ;)
