123419 scott grandstaff <scottg@s...> 2003‑10‑20 And Now - Something Different
My the elephants are restless today. We got DAT and DATAMP discussions
going. We got the fine points and possibles of none other than Henry
Disston. It's good to be a Galoot.
Here's something you never saw the like of............ :-)
Well Galoots
It might be lame to post pictures of something that can still be
screwed up. This project still has a long way to go. But it's close
enough for you to get the idea of and I just can't stand it a moment
longer. It's somethig I never should of done. Too much work and too long
to make. It's been nigh onto 6 years now since this thing was a rusty,
nasty piece of ordinary channel iron out in the boneyard. But something
kept nagging me.......well yeah, that'd be you Russ :-) :-)
You see, our Russ Allen cast the frog for me from a pattern I made. In
fact, the whole shebang is headed back to his place to use the body as a
mold so he can have one too. Or maybe a couple might get into
circulation, who knows??
  Anyway, without further ado

That's bee-ootiful, Scott. Looks like a great user, too.
And you say it's only 2" long?
Dan, in NJ.

Galoots,
Happy Camper, Scott posted some pics of a magnificent plane he made, is
making. Really nice job, Scott!
But, why on earth do we allow him to interfere in the great intramural
food fights over saws and publications. For accomplishing constructive,
beautiful tool work - and then injecting it into the fray, Scott should be
handed the spittoon!

Karl - So, do I have to start the next one or is someone else going to
step forward? Come on Steve, your turn, you seem ready.
